maxit Group has through its German subsidiary, maxit Deutschland GmbH, reached an agreement with SIKA Deutschland GmbH, regarding transfer of the Polyment activities.

The transfer is planned for 1 November 2005, pending an approval from German cartel authorities.

SIKA Deutschland is a subsidiary to Swiss SIKA AG, a company supplying specialty chemicals markets and a leader in processing materials in construction and industry.

The agreement comprises the business segment protection and repair systems for bridges and similar, and the German Polyment export activities.

maxit Group will keep the product groups of Polyment which are connected to our international product range (IPR).
